Water Over the Dam

It’s been a rainy few weeks in central Ohio. Rainy enough that the O’Shaughnessy Dam five minutes from our house is pretty much running wide open. And, the city just spent a few months paving and overhauling the park above the dam, so it seems to get pretty steady traffic of people coming down to take in the view. I headed down for a bit this afternoon for some soggy photography (post-processing HDR applied to the first three photos below — I’m still learning how to take the right pictures and apply the right processes there):

Wow! Lots of water there, but the biggest Wow! is that you show the makings of a bird photographer!! Those photos of the great blue heron are NICE.
